无题

I don't know why these keep popping into my mind these days. Let's start with the famous poet of Sung Dynastry苏东坡. If one have read神雕侠侣, then this poem should not be distant...
The last part of the poem, is so crisp and suddenly stopped...it's brilliant and yet so sad, it brought a sudden end to this poem but it also leaves an endless thought and wondering...

Place NOT to go eat

This blog has many recommended places to dine and experience good food around Penang vicinity. What's not in here are the other half of the missing puzzle - places NOT to go eat.

This crappy photo is taken from my HTC pin hole camera. Plus it's at night and i try to take a quick and dirty snap shot before people realized what i am about to do with it.

This was once a very famous and popular hawker center in Pulau Tikus back then. Coffee shop name is Bee Hooi (if i am not mistaken) it's at the corner next to EON bank.

Here are the listed sour experience:-

1) old and dirty place.
2) ordered a cup of Almond hot tea and ended up half stirred and spoon it dirty with brown sticky residues - not sure what they are.
3) ordered a cup of mix ice coffee and tea but ended up watered and pretty much tasteless drink.
4) these 2 cups of sub par drinks cost a hefty $3 ++ ringgit. these days drinks have very high profit at certain coffee shops.
5) Ee Fu Mee is expensive and tasteless. worse than my 1 minute home cook Maggi Mee.
6) Fried Koay Teow is salty, Koay Teow is hard to chew on.

so folks around Pulau Tikus look for food make sure you don't end your butt in this coffee shop in hope for a satisfying meal....you WON'T get it here!!!

wedding

when thinking about marriage...there is chill climbing up on my spine :( but when looking at the happy faces, the smiles, laughs, cheering, enjoyable atmosphere in a wedding does warm it all up. Went to a buddy's wedding today, that includes the ceremony as well as banquet that followed, to shoot the events. Through the lenses (used 18-200mmVR, 85mm & 17-50mm today), all the facial expression, the body language, and through the eyes of the people I shot at...all the happy and cheerful feeling were channeled via the viewfinder and amplified...well, it's simply amazing!!! attached picture was taken from the first few test shots before the guests and newly wed couple arrive.
