Art of Twitting...(www.twitter.com)

Twitter is just gaining so much attention recently. Never been familiar with the term of microblog and tweeting though. Just feel so curious that I just decided to give it a try, registered myself and went to my home website. Guess I'm trying to look for similar interface as if those in multiply web site or facebook, and to no avail. What appeared in front of me was just, "What are you doing?", with a box field for me to type something, or anything. Glancing thru the side bar to find a way to post some photos or something, no way, just a search field, message or inbox, and track my followers. Not sure what I could do next, I just moved my cursor to the what-the-hell-are-u-doing box field to type something, and great! It started to show the # of characters leftover for me while typing. Just 2-3 sentences and I have reached my limit. Wonder if I could just miss out something, I searched Obama and Al Gore homepage to verify. Great! Few sentences too, just it cleverly include links to their own web site...

Now the microblog concept starts to become clearer now. Just forget about those complicated interface of facebook, applications, lagging speed of multiply and complicated settings that u have or which photos u wish to post. Jump into twitter, twit a few words in my mind, and that's it. That's the simplicity, simplicity is the art of Twitter. Do I really like it? I'm not really sure... but the number of members have just proven it. I do think that this could be helpful for mobile phone with typing speeds are rather limited thru keypad or touch screen or the cramped qwerty keyboard, whatever.

Evan Williams, you are such a lucky b*st#rd :)
