Found quite a few messages from a close friend while trying out the newly downloaded nokia pc suite. It seems like not too long ago, we're exchanging sms talking about a compact-prosumer Fujifilm camera; the color quality, the zoom, the built, the size, surface finish...he was the first one I know who has a digital camera many many years ago - it was a Fujifilm CCD type, like the Sony digital video camera used by the weird guy in American Beauty holding to shoot all the dead and weird stuff...This fujifilm cost a few grand back then...the quality is great, and the design is sleek. Since then, he had own 4-5 more digital cameras including the all in one Sony with cool video playback in the size Nokia Communicator. Plus a COWON digital video/picture player/viewer. This series of sms was stacked near the bottom of my inbox also reminds me of a hot and humid afternoon at Kampung Jawa...we're chatting at a mamak stall about how bad the Canon he got as forced to buy one at Langkawi, because of the camera he bought got soaked in water...

btw, he never bought a dSLR as it's just not his style to haul one around...and I don't have his picture taken on my dSLR.
